Introduction
Client: Novice cannabis users and brands that sell cannabis products.
Nowadays, the introduction of cannabis products is filled with jargon, creating a significant barrier for novice users.
This project's primary objective is to bridge the gap between users and cannabis products by leveraging innovative user experience design. My goal is to revolutionize the online purchasing experience for cannabis products by incorporating professional UX knowledge. Through the development of a cutting-edge cannabis buying application, I aim to provide a more user-friendly and intuitive online buying experience.

Problem Definition
Problem Statement
The information on cannabis products is always filled with too many strange strain names and what appear to be chemical abbreviations. This situation makes people feel even more confused, and it causes many people to use cannabis blindly for the first time without knowing if it is the right product for their needs.
Solution
Let's help users in transitioning from today's "product-oriented" information strategies to an "experience-oriented" strategy that simplifies the process of discovering cannabis, even for first-time users, without requiring them to possess expert-level knowledge in cannabis.
Research
Idea Validation, User Research, Current State Analysis
After conducting a cross-country idea validation, it was confirmed that the majority of users perceive this as a significant barrier that requires improvement. A thorough analysis of the current state helped identify issues within the existing information architecture.

Comparative Analysis
Conducting a complete comparative analysis provides valuable insight into the external environment. Gain a complete understanding of market conditions from a 360-degree perspective, identify areas for improvement, uncover opportunities, leverage strengths, and capture competitive markets. And find the best opportunities for user experience optimization

User Research, Persona, User Journey, User Story
User surveys play a crucial role in gaining a deeper understanding of user needs, enabling us to create designs that align with their expectations more effectively. By gathering valuable insights and feedback directly from users, we can identify pain points, preferences, and desires, allowing us to tailor our designs to better meet their expectations. This user-centric approach ensures that our designs are not only visually appealing but also intuitive, user-friendly, and ultimately provide a positive user experience.

Design
UX Theme, Site Map
By creating UX themes, I successfully defined services and features for the product that closely matched user needs. This process allowed me to identify and prioritize functionalities that would provide the most value and enhance the overall user experience.
Additionally, building the site map provided a structured framework for organizing and visualizing the project. It helped to clarify the relationships between different pages and content, ensuring a logical flow and intuitive navigation for users. The site map also facilitated effective communication and collaboration with the development team, ensuring a smooth and coordinated implementation of the project.

By integrating survey results, design themes, information architecture, a streamlined site map, and expert knowledge in user experience, I was able to tailor the site's wireframes and prototypes.
Through an iterative process, starting from low-fidelity wireframes and progressing to high-fidelity models, I consistently sought improvement through user testing. My goal was to optimize the product's usability, functionality, and overall user experience. I remained committed to refining and enhancing the product until we achieved our desired outcome.

User Test, Optimization
By conducting workshops and user interviews, I actively engage target customers and pharmacy staff in the process of testing the product. This allows me to gather valuable user feedback and suggestions, which I then use to further optimize the functionality and design of the product. Through the implementation of agile practices, I continuously iterate and refine the product to ensure it meets the needs and expectations of the users.

UX workshop
Result
After conducting numerous tests and implementing iterative optimizations, I successfully designed a product that closely aligns with the needs of users. This accomplishment was achieved through the implementation of various strategies, including the "User classification system, Mood spectrum menu, Icon labeling system, Infographic System, User Feedback and Reviews." These five major benefits work together to deliver a seamless and perfect user experience, ensuring that users can easily navigate the product, understand its features, and provide valuable feedback.
Accomplishments
Developed an innovative application prototype that enhances the user experience.
Designed a new information strategy that simplifies product effectiveness for consumers.
Created a Mood Spectrum, a comprehensive list of emotions, to assist users in making intuitive product choices based on their feelings.
Implemented a dynamic data system that adjusts product information in real-time based on user feedback.
Reflection
For me, cannabis represents a market brimming with potential, particularly when approached as an experiential industry rather than a mere product industry. People's expectations of cannabis extend beyond its taste and aroma; it's about the emotions and experiences it can provide. By embracing this perspective, we can unlock its immense potential for the future.
This application project marks just the beginning of a vast endeavor. Envision curated music playlists that perfectly complement cannabis, videos and movies designed to enhance the experience, or even a cannabis-themed amusement park reminiscent of Disney World. The possibilities are limitless, and it's truly an incredible realm to explore.
